  1.     The files here comprise the client and server library.
  2. But, files that can be compiled with either CLIENT or SERVER
  3. defined, are compiled as client functions.  This means that
  4. directories that require SERVER versions, must make their
  5. own link to the appropriate file in this directory.  This is
  6. done, for example, by the tftp directory, since it needs a
  7. version of error.c for the client and the server.  It has its
  8. own link to error.c and just compiles it with either CLIENT
  9. or SERVER defined.

  11.     The rresvport() function distributed with WIN/TCP doesn't
  12. appear to work right.  We've replaced it with the function in this
  13. directory, which is a copy of the file from the ../rcmd directory,
  14. modified to work with WIN/TCP.  This is needed for the lpr example
  15. to work with WIN/TCP.
